In this section, I’m following up to a posting I put up in February. I personally believe that the world would be a better place if we just lend a hand to help someone or something. Whether that’s volunteering at the local shelter or going global by empowering children at an African orphanage. And the benefits should not just be for yourself but in the fact that you truly want to make someone else’s life better. In the May issue of Conde Nast Traveler, writers embarked on several “Do-Good” trips all across the world, from building homes in Peru, to teaching children in Cambodia and even nursing a coral reef. They also include names of profit and non-profit organizations, as well as tips to get you started should you decide to embark on one of these excursions.
